About
As one of the activity hubs of the Asia Real Estate Initiative (AREI) led by the MIT Center for Real Estate, we are pleased to announce the establishment of the Tokyo Hub.
AREI aims to become a platform that convenes leaders from industry, government, entrepreneurship, investment, and academia to address practical challenges related to real estate and cities in Asia. By promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration and dialogue, and through knowledge sharing and research activities, AREI seeks to contribute to the long-term, sustainable development of the urban and real estate sectors.
As the first program at the Tokyo Hub, we will host a special seminar on the latest innovation & technology trends in the real estate and construction sectors, featuring Steve Weikal, Industry Chair at the MIT Center for Real Estate, Jay Shah, Founder of Kaizen AI, and Prasan Kale, Co-Founder & CEO of Outcome, as guest speakers.
This event will be conducted in English.

AREI is designed as a platform that brings together leaders from industry, government, start-ups, investment communities, and academia to tackle real-world challenges in real estate and urban development in Asia.
Its mission is to promote cross-sector collaboration and dialogue, and to contribute to the sustainable development of cities and real estate through knowledge sharing and research.
At the Tokyo Hub, AREI will focus on themes such as sustainability, innovation & technology, and urban dynamism in the real estate and construction sectors. The Hub will offer educational programs delivered by MIT faculty and lecturers, host events and seminars, and disseminate research findings.
